Being that we were in Cali and it was that time of year, harvest time, everyone had food and wine on their minds. We all know that food is the way to a persons heart, but it has also been said that good wine makes good blood, good blood causes good humor, good humor causes good thoughts, good thoughts bring forth good works, good works carry a man to heaven, therefore, good wine gets a man into heaven. Let's ll hope that's where this crew ends up...

A little over a year ago, Drake created one of the biggest buzz's we've ever seen in Hip Hop with his "So Far So Gone" Mixtape. Since that time, he has inked a deal with Young Money and has gone on to prove that his uncanny ability to co-mingle lyrics and vocals are reserved for a select few. While Lil Wayne is gearing up for his return, Drizzy has provided a much needed platform for Wayne to work on when he does get back to making hits. And after dropping visuals for his lead single, he gives another favorite of ours off the album, "Miss Me", the camera treatment. Compared to the last video, this production has an edgy yet subdued feel to it all the while giving the content of the song a perfect tone. Check it out.
Keeping up with the luggage and bag market, Supreme is offering a few backpacks in simple make ups but with some nice detailing. The 1000 Denier Cordura has a tonal brown hue on its outer shell with brass accents and also comes in Military green and jet black. Through striking visual imagery, renowned artist Jeff Soto communicates profound visions and fears, nostalgia of his youth, and themes of love, lust, and hope. Soto’s distinct color palette, subject matter, technique and bold themes resonate with a growing audience. Inspired by childhood toys, the colorful lifestyle of skateboarding and graffiti, hip-hop and popular culture, Soto’s representational work is simultaneously accessible and stimulating.
Environmental issues also take precedent for Soto, who is concerned with conflict of humans trying to harness, or take advantage of nature. His paintings exude this tension, as robotic creatures duel, organic tentacles and flower bouquets thrive, and black smog looms amidst floating, ominous skulls. Recently, the team fromFriends With You caught up with Soto to talk about his latest solo exhibition entitled "Life Cycle" at Jonathan Levine Gallery, NYC and his background in art. Check it out.
Yeezy said he's calling his new-music express "G.O.O.D. Fridays" because "y'all know every Friday y'all gone have a new joint from our family. We look at the game completely different now ... It's about the fans. No more holding back. That's why I dropped 'See Me Now' ... it wasn't about me, it was about the Summer the BBQs etc."- It really doesn't surprise us in the least bit, Kanye is and has always been one of the hardest if not the hardest working man in show business. Coming off rave reviews on his lead single "Power", he is also working on a new film which is based off the new album. So when the next song drops, you might want to be online to download it.

When you think Harley Davidson, you think American Culture at its best. With a history dating back to the beginning of the 20th century, over 100 years later, the name that defines beauty and aggression all in the same token, has evolved into company that covers all facets of what makes American Culture what it is today. Such is the case of their latest collaboration with Grammy Award winning producer/artist Pharrell Williams. Skateboard P teamed up with Harley to create a custom bike that not only represents the creativity and genius of both himself but the vintage style and superb technique that Harley Davidson is known for. In less than two full years, Bruno Mars has all but taken over the R&B scene with his amazing vocal ability. Still reeling off his smash hit- "Nothing On You" featuring B.O.B, which swept across the country in little to no time, he returns with a new cut entitled "Just The Way You Are". The talented writer/singer/producer is one of the best new comers in the music industry and is one you can probably count on hearing from for a quite a while. The production on this new song is more uptempo but has a relaxing melody which coincides with the content. Definitely a fresh sound for the radio and nice groove for a night on the town. Peep it below.
Boogie’s reach in THE UNCOVERING is broad, but cohesive – images of vandalized property, storm clouds, public housing, youth and the elderly both stand alone and chronicle a more extensive, multi-layered story. As a photographer, Boogie is singular in his ability to remove his presence as the mediator between the subjects of his work and those viewing them from without. His illumination of the complexity of the human condition without the imposition of his own ego or ideologies presents a more compelling foundation for the contemplation of his weighty subject matter and the socio-economic, philosophical and emotional currents that press from beneath.
